The DecentraTech Collective is an open community with a common focus on accelerating the understanding, development and adoption of decentralization technologies, including blockchain and Web 3.0 approaches, to address fundamental business challenges and opportunities.

The DecentraTech Collective delivers unbiased education programs and practical advocacy initiatives for these transformational technologies, drawing on the expertise and practical insights of our community and our Partners.
The Collective engages with enterprises, SMBs, startups, investors, accelerators, nonprofits, educational establishments, industry organizations, lawmakers, regulators, government agencies and passionate entrepreneurs to further its acceleration mission.

Thanks to the financial support and active engagement of our Partners, the Collective is rolling out new education and research initiatives beginning in the first quarter of 2021.

Acceleration Through Education and Practical Advocacy

Cited as underpinning the second era of the internet, for businesses the adoption of decentralization technologies is either potentially transformational or an expensive folly. Successful projects exploring blockchain and Web 3.0 that realize tangible benefits are often preceded by costly and time-consuming PoCs and pilots that require steep learning curves by both business and technology staff, and that often deliver minimal value other than increased hindsight. 
 
The DecentraTech Collective is committed to accelerating the successful adoption of technologies that enable decentralization by delivering educational programs and practical advocacy activities that leverage the expertise and insights of recognized decentralization, blockchain and Web 3.0 innovators.

The Collective focuses primarily on producing unbiased education for businesses, whether they be startups, established SMBs or enterprises, as well as for trade organizations and others that are seeking to understand and leverage these foundational technologies.

Our specialized practical advocacy initiatives promote open source projects and often leverage the offerings and services of the Collective's Partners, both accelerating and de-risking implementations.
Our Partners provide financial and in-kind support and also contribute their wisdom to help set the education and research agenda for the Collective.

The Collective hosts online and in-person events throughout the year as a key channel to deliver its education programs and facilitate engagement within its community.
Often led by Partners, the Collective’s research programs increase our community’s understanding of decentralization, blockchain and Web 3.0 and how application areas are leveraging them.

The day-to-day operations of the DecentraTech Collective are run by an Executive Director and a CMO, assisted by a small salaried and volunteer staff.
